International Women’s Media Foundation Names New Board Members, Co-Chairs
Washington, D.C. – The International Women’s Media Foundation has announced three new members of its board of directors:

Barbara Cochran, former president of the Radio and Television News Directors Foundation. Cochran, who previously served as an IWMF board member, has nearly 30 years of experience as a journalist and news executive.

Katty Kay, Washington Correspondent for BBC World News America. Kay reports on American news and politics and co-authored the book Womenomics in 2009. She began her career with the BBC in 1990 in Zimbabwe.

Cynthia McFadden, co-anchor of ABC News’ Nightline since 2005. McFadden joined ABC News in 1994 as the network's legal correspondent.
Leading the IWMF board of directors as co-chairs are Campbell Brown, a CNN anchor, and Barbara Cochran. Cochran replaces Akwe Amosu of the Open Society Institute, who will remain on the IWMF board. Theodore J. Boutrous Jr. of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP serves as vice chair. Secretary is Carolan K. Stiles of Blue Creek Foundation and treasurer is Jennifer Moyer of Alarm.com.
