Nominations are now being accepted for the UNESCO-IPDC Prize for Rural Communication, which honors innovative ideas that improve communication in rural, developing communities. The $20,000 prize is awarded every two years to an institution or individual from an UNESCO member state. Eligible projects can include newspapers, films, broadcasting, multimedia programs or other new or traditional forms of media. Deadline is October 1. Click here for details and an application.
