Leadership Circle
For a gift of $1,000 or more, you will join an influential group of leaders working to elevate the status of women journalists worldwide. You will receive special recognition by the IWMF, be invited to meet with Courage in Journalism Award winners at a private event in New York, Los Angeles or Washington, D.C. and learn more about IWMF activities through periodic updates from IWMF Executive Director Liza Gross.
Your investment helps the IWMF develop innovative approaches to reporting on global issues. Your commitment empowers women journalists to become more active in improving lives around the world. Leadership Circle members enable IWMF to respond to timely opportunities and:
- Call immediate attention to journalists facing threat and intimidation,
- Honor women who report under difficult and dangerous circumstances,
- Cultivate leadership among women journalists,
- Enable women to participate more fully in the news media worldwide.
Each year, IWMF honors three international women journalists who risk their lives to report the news. Purchase tickets for this year's inspirational ceremonies. Make a pledge to support the Courage Awards. Or both!
Support the Elizabeth Neuffer IWMF Fund
Boston Globe correspondent Elizabeth Neuffer died in Iraq in 2003. Each year since 2004, her memorial fund has paid for one woman journalist to spend nine months researching human rights and social justice topics at MIT's Center for International Studies. Please donate to this one-of-a-kind program.
