IWMF South Asia Initiative Participant Receives Journalism Award
Teresa Rehman, who was a participant in the South Asia Initiative on Women and HIV/AIDS Policymaking, received the 2010 Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award from the President of India, Pratibha Devisingh Patil. IAPA Announces 2009 Winners for Excellence in Journalism in the Americas
The Inter American Press Association announced the winners of the Excellence in Journalism in the Americas awards. The IAPA annually honors journalists and newspapers throughout the Americas for their contributions to excellence in journalism and the defense of freedom of expression. Several women throughout the Americas were winners.
