International Reporting Fellowship Program
December 11, 2012 -- The IWMF is offering a reporting fellowship program for women journalists to better understand and report on economic development activities in Western Sahara, and to exchange knowledge with local journalists. To achieve these goals, the IWMF brings two groups of women journalists from international media organizations to Western Sahara.
The first reporting trip took place in December 2012, with participating journalists from CNN, BBC, PBS NewsHour, NPR, the International Herald Tribune and the Christian Science Monitor. Their reporting will be featured on the IWMF’s website.
A date for the second reporting trip has not been set yet.
